These terms apply when you use KitMel, the free calculators for salary, loans and seniority pay in Cambodia. By using KitMel, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
In short
- KitMel is free and needs no account.
- Results are estimates to help you check your numbers. They are not tax, legal or financial advice.
- Before you rely on an important number, check it with your employer, your bank, NSSF, the General Department of Taxation or an accountant.
- Your data stays in your browser. The privacy policy explains the rest.
1. Estimates, not advice
KitMel works out results from the rules and figures we know about, such as tax bands, NSSF contributions and the exchange rate. We try to keep them accurate and current, but laws, rates and official figures change, and your situation may have details the calculator doesn't cover.
Results are for information only. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they are not an official statement from any government body or bank. Before you make a decision, such as signing a loan or questioning your pay, check the numbers with the people responsible: your employer, your bank or lender, NSSF, the General Department of Taxation, or a qualified accountant.
2. Rules and exchange rates
Each result shows the date of the rules it used. Rules that are still being checked are marked as drafts on the page. The default exchange rate is a reference, not the rate your bank or employer will use; you can set your own in Settings.
3. Your data and your device
KitMel saves your settings and Recent only in your browser. We can't recover them if you clear your browser's data, change device or lose your phone. You are responsible for who can use your device and see what's saved on it. The privacy policy explains how we handle data.
4. Using KitMel fairly
You may use KitMel for yourself, your family or your work. Please don't:
- Try to break or overload the site, or get around its security.
- Copy the site or its content in bulk, or with automated tools, to run a competing service.
- Present KitMel's results as official figures, or sell them as your own work without checking them.
- Use KitMel for anything unlawful.
6. Our content
The KitMel name, logo, design and text belong to us. You may quote them or link to them, but not in a way that suggests we endorse you, your business or your product.
7. Feedback
If you send us an idea or suggestion, we may use it to improve KitMel without paying you or naming you. Thank you: it helps.
8. Other sites
KitMel links to other sites, such as official sources and news. We don't control them, and we aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
9. No guarantees
KitMel is provided free, as it is and when it is available. We don't promise that it will always work, be free of errors or be up to date, or that its results will be right for your situation.
10. Limits of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using KitMel or relying on its results, including money you pay, lose or don't receive. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11. Changes
We may update KitMel, or change or stop any part of it, at any time. When we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using KitMel after a change, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and any dispute will be settled by the courts of Cambodia.
